Faculty Development Program on Do’s And Don’ts In Question Paper Setting

A faculty development program on Do’s and Don’ts In Question Paper Setting was organized for teaching faculty of Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad under the guidance of Dr. N. R. Jadhav, Dean, Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad on Saturday, 30/09/2023. The resource person was Dr. R. B. Jadhav (Professor & Principal, SVPM College of Pharmacy, Malegaon). The welcome note and introduction of the speaker were given by Ms. Sandhyarani R Sagavkar, Assistant Professor, KVV, KIP, Karad. Dean, Dr. N. R. Jadhav, welcomed Dr. R. B. Jadhav by offering a bouquet. Brief introduction of the program was given by Dr. N. R. Jadhav. He explained the importance of question paper setting in the exam concerning the course outcomes and Bloom’s taxonomy. Dr. R. B. Jadhav, enlightened the teachers regarding the designing of question paper according to course outcome. He explained how to phrase the question paper according to Bloom’s taxanomy levels. He guides on how to distribute marks to each question, like multiple choice and descriptive questions. Also briefed some case studies showcasing real examples of multiple choice question.

Concluding remarks was given by Mrs. M.N.Veer, Assistant professor, KVV, KIP, Karad, and a vote of thanks was given by Ms. S. S Patil Assistant professor, KVV, KIP, Karad, she expressed sincere thanks to Dr. R. B. Jadhav for guiding and sharing the valuable information on question paper setting. She also thanked Dean Dr. N.
