KIMS-Guest Lecture on Basic Clinical Examination of Spine

Orthopaedics department of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, KVV., Karad. Organised a Guest Lecture on 16th October 2024 with the theme of “Basic Clinical Examination of Spine”. It was arranged in Tierra (S1) Hall at KIMS, Karad. which was attended by about 11 Teaching Faculties & 35 Residents of Orthopaedics Department. Total 46 delegates from KIMS,KVV., Karad attended the Guest Lecture.

Chief Speaker for Guest Lecture - Dr. Salim Lad, is Passed his MBBS and MS (Ortho) From V.M. Medical , Solapur in 1994 and had done DNB Ortho in 1995, since 1996 he is involved in teaching. At present he is working as Professor and head of department of Orthopaedics at D. Y. Patil MedicalCollege, Kolhapur. His special interesting topic is Spine and he is also working as incharge of Spine Unit.

The CME started at 06.00 PM and was over by 08.00 PM on 16th October 2024. It was Started after introduction of chief speaker Dr. Salim Lad

All teachers & Students gathered in Tierra (S1) Hall at KIMS, Karad were provided with big Screen with Projectors & Sound System. After finishing the Guest Lecture Residents of Orthopaedics Department KIMS ,KVV. Karad Presented the Case of Spine in Front of Guest Lecture and other teaching faculties of KIMS, KVV, Karad and there was good interactive session between the delegates &chief speaker during Guest Lecture.
