KIP: Celebrated World Pharmacists Day under the global theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist”

WORLD PHARMACIST’S DAY – 2025

THEME – THINK HEALTH, THINK PHARMACY

On 25th September 2025, KVV’s Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad, proudly celebrated World Pharmacists Day under the global theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist”, emphasizing the vital role pharmacists play in advancing healthcare. The celebration was graced by the presence of Hon. Dr. Pravin Shingare, Principal Advisor, Academics and Accreditation, KVV, Karad, as President of the function; Mr. Dilip G. Gune, Managing Director, S. G. Phytopharma, Kolhapur, as Chief Guest; Dr. N. R. Jadhav, Dean, Krishna Institute of Pharmacy; Dr. A. A. Koparde, Dean Academics, KVV; and Mrs. P. P. Jadhav, KVV’s KIP, along with the entire teaching faculty. The event, organized under the guidance of Dr. N. R. Jadhav (Organizing Chairman) and coordinated by Mrs. Pratiksha Jadhav, featured a range of impactful activities including an awareness rally, patient counseling session, felicitation of community and hospital pharmacists, a charity visit to Shivshambho Vruddhashram, Nerle, and logo and slogan competitions. Donations worth ₹12,000—including clothes, medicines, fruits, and eatables—were contributed by teaching, non-teaching staff, and students. The event successfully highlighted the compassion, expertise, and social responsibility embodied by the pharmacy profession.
