West Zone Vice Chancellors’ Conference organized by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi at Udaipur on 17th & 18th March 2026

Hon’ble Dr. Mrs. Neelam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad attended the West Zone Vice Chancellors’ Conference organized by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi at Udaipur on 17th & 18th March 2026.

The conference was inaugurated at the hands of Hon. Shri Haribhauji Bagade, Hon. Chancellor of the Universities and Governor of State of Rajasthan. The Secretary General of the Association of Indian Universities, Dr. Pankaj Mittal was the organizing Secretary. Apart from participating in all the sessions as a participant, Hon’ble Dr. Mrs. Neelam Mishra, Vice Chancellor delivered an expert talk at the 3rd Technical Session on the theme ‘Economic Patriotism leading to Economic Indigenization’ with reference to healthcare delivery system and the health professions education specially medical education as a mother repository of generation of trained health manpower managing the healthcare delivery system in an efficient, effective and deliverable manner. It was emphasized that indigenization is a way forward primarily because it would not only result in low generation cost, but also end up in invocation of affordable healthcare delivery system which is so vital for India in view of its socio-economic conditions and also in the background of the fact that it has to sustain double disease burden of the highest magnitude in the work in view of its largest population.

The thematic expert talk so delivered was very hugely acclaimed and appreciated by all the participating members and all invitees present. The participation was duly recognized by the Association of Indian Universities through felicitation of the Hon’ble Dr. Mrs. Neelam Mishra, Vice Chancellor at the hands of Dr. Pankaj Mittal Secretary General of AIU.

The participation of Hon’ble Dr. Mrs. Neelam Mishra, Vice Chancellor at the leading conference definitely has yielded tangible and appreciable efforts in terms of diligent recognition which was evident vociferously.
