“A candidate will be eligible for registration for Super Specialty Degree Course, if he has passed Post Graduate Course ( M.D.) from the recognized University in the concerned subject and has got himself registered with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.”
ii) No person shall be registered for the Super Specialty Degree Course unless such a person is in a position to work as a full time Resident student for the period applicable in his case.
iii) The candidate will be selected according to the existing rules and regulations in the Constituent College/Institution concerned.
iv) The number of students registered will be in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Medical Council of India and shall be selected strictly on the basis of their academic merit.
v) The academic merit, for admission to Super Specialty Degree Courses shall be on the basis of merit as determined by NEET conducted all India basis provided further that minimum percentile of marks for eligibility for admission to Super Specialty Degree Courses shall be 5 percentile at the entrance test or as prescribed by the Govt. of India.
vi) The period of regular course of study for the Super Specialty Degree Courses shall be of three years.
- Every student, so selected for admission to Super Specialty Degree Course in constituent college of the University, shall possess recognized MBBS degree and Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject or the equivalent Degree and should have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India, or any of the State Medical Councils or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
- The registered Candidate shall prosecute, under the approved supervisor, a regular course of study and research (including Practical Training, if any) in a Constituent College for the course of study for the requisite examination for the minimum period specified in the Byelaw.
- Subject to his/her compliance with the provisions of this Byelaw and of other Byelaws in force from time to time, applicant for admission to a examination under this byelaw shall be eligible therefore, if he/she -
(a) Has been duly registered; and
(b) has prosecuted a regular courses of study and research for the requisite
minimum period specified in this Byelaw.
(c) has prosecuted a regular course of study for three academic years and produced a certificate of having attended not less than 80% of the classes of the course in each of the paper, practical and applicants performance to the satisfaction of the teacher of the course and the Dean of the constituent college of the University.
