Pharmacology at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad, Maharashtra, has been honored with the Innovative Lecture Award (Academician) at the 26th CEC-UGC Educational Film Festival, held from 20–22 March 2025 at the University of Lucknow. Her award-winning educational film, “Ideal Interaction Between Doctor and Medical

Representative,” highlights ethical communication in medical practice and serves as a training tool for second-phase MBBS students. The lecture promotes a critical, evidence-based approach to pharmaceutical promotion, aligning with the National Medical Council’s Competency-Based Medical Education guidelines.

With over 34 years of teaching experience and 75+ publications, Dr. Khanwelkar continues to inspire excellence in medical education.
