KIP: 2nd NATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE ON RECENT ADVANCES IN PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES & TECHNOLOGY

The Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, in collaboration with Gulbarga University, Karnataka, and the Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (Central), successfully organized the 2nd National Student Conference on March 3 to 4, 2025. This event served as a dynamic platform for students, researchers, and academicians to engage with the Recent Advances in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology.The inaugural session commenced with an address by Dr. N. R. Jadhav, Convenor and Dean, Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad. The chief guest for the occasion was Dr. Meena Chintamaneni, Pro Vice-Chancellor of NMIMS (Deemed to be University), Mumbai. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. M. V. Ghorpade, Registrar, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth(Deemed to be University), Karad. The event was further graced by esteemed Guests of Honour, including Dr. G. M. Vidyasagar, Professor, Gulbarga University, Karnataka; Dr. S. R. Patil, Director IQAC, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad; and Dr. (Brig) G. Himashree, Director of Research, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad.Dr. Jyotiram Sawale, the Coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks during the inaugural function. Following the inaugural session, a Poster Competition was held, showcasing innovative research across different categories, including D. Pharm, UG, and PG divisions. The poster competition was evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, including Dr. Manish Kondawar, Dr. Sachin Patil, Dr. Prafulla Choudhari, Dr. Durgacharan Bhagwat, Dr. Sujit Desai, and Smt. Nutan Shah.The Valedictory Function was honored by Chief Guest Dr. Yugantara R. Kadam, Dean of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad. The winners, runner-ups, and recipients of consolation prizes in various categories were:Ms. Aakanksha Nandkumar Renuse (GES College of Pharmacy, Limb, Satara), Ms. Pradnya Sudhir Menkudale (Annasaheb Dange College of Pharmacy, Ashta), Ms. Siddhi Ravindra Pandese (Dnyandeep College of Pharmacy, Boraj), Ms. Drishti Surendra Sachdeo (Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad), Ms. Sanjana Sanjay Lakhapate (Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad), Mr. Harshavardhan Dilip Patil (Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy, Kolhapur), Ms. Sneha Satish Suryawanshi (TKCP, Warananagar), Ms. Shweta Mallikarjun (Department of Botany, Gulbarga University, Karnataka). Dr. Anup Patil, the Coordinator, expressed gratitude during the valedictory function.On March 4, 2025, the conference also featured an exciting Swimming Competition, fostering sportsmanship and healthy competition. The event was presided over by Chief Guest Dr. Manoj Ambali, Head of the Department of Anatomy, KIMS, and Director of Sports and Cultural Affairs at Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad.The winners in the Boys and Girls categories were: Mr. Yash Patil (Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad), Mr. Ruturaj Jadhav (Meruling Shikshan Sanstha, Medha), Ms. Mrudula Mohite (Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad). The 2nd National Student Conference was a resounding success, promoting academic excellence, research innovation, and extracurricular engagement, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.
