About Department Of Pharmacy Practice

The department of Pharmacy Practice plays a pivotal role in the comprehensive education and training of students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at our esteemed institution. In close collaboration with Krishna Hospital and Research Centre (1125 beds multi-specialty hospital), the department is committed to fostering an enriching environment for the teaching and learning processes. Faculty members, comprised of experienced practitioners and educators, impart invaluable insights into clinical pharmacy, patient care, and pharmaceutical care management. The department follow PCI curriculum to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring that students gain hands-on experience in real-world healthcare settings along with leading healthcare professional as preceptor. Students have the opportunity to engage in clinical rotations, enhancing their skills in medication therapy management and collaborative healthcare practice. We strive to serve as a bridge between academia and pharmaceutical care practice, equipping future pharmacists with the necessary tools and expertise to excel in the dynamic field of pharmaceutical care.
