Creating Safer Workplaces Together - KIMS, Karad.
On Thursday, 17th April 2025, the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), KVV (Deemed to be University), Karad conducted a training session aimed at fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable workplace environment. The session was held at Tierra Hall and commenced at 11:00 AM.
The event featured two eminent speakers from ProGrace Mantra, Pune—Ms. Vrinda Joshi (B.Com., LL.B., Certified POSH Trainer) and Ms. Prachi Dole (MBA, Certified POSH Trainer). With extensive experience in the field, both trainers have collectively conducted awareness and sensitization programs for over 20,000 individuals across diverse sectors, focusing on the POSH Act, diversity and inclusion, and gender sensitization.
The objective of the session was to increase awareness regarding workplace sexual harassment, deepen understanding of gender-related issues, and promote a safer and more inclusive academic atmosphere within KVV(DU), Karad.
The session drew active participation from over 50 faculty members representing various constituent institutes including Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Science & Technology. The interactive nature of the session, including real-life scenarios and a dynamic Q&A segment, was particularly well-received and highlighted the effectiveness of the training.
