Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS, Karad) successfully conducted an Alumni Interaction Session on "Career Guidance for India & Germany" on November 21, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The session was led by Ms. Soumya Babu and Ms. Steffy K. George, both distinguished alumni of the 2019-2023 Basic B.Sc. Nursing batch, currently serving as Staff Nurses at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.
A total of 100 students from the 3rd Semester B.Sc. Nursing program attended the session.
Session Highlights
Ms. Soumya Babu shared her personal journey from being a student at KINS to becoming a skilled nurse in Mumbai. She spoke about the high-quality academic and clinical training she received at KINS, Karad, which equipped her with the skills and competencies necessary to excel in the nursing profession. She emphasized the strong job opportunities for nurses in India, particularly in Mumbai, where Krishna Nursing graduates are highly regarded for their expertise and professionalism.
Ms. Steffy K. George focused on the career prospects in Germany, explaining the key requirements for pursuing a nursing career in the country. She highlighted:
The need for proficiency in the German language (minimum B2 level).
The essential aptitude exams and qualifications required for nursing jobs in Germany.
The exam patterns, subject weightage, and the years of professional experience needed to work abroad.
